Benzoyl Peroxide (2.5%w/w)
Local anaesthesia to relieve pain, burning and itching from minor skin/mucosal irritation; used to numb area before minor procedures as advised by a doctor.
Lidocaine is a local anaesthetic that blocks voltage-gated sodium channels in nerve endings. This prevents initiation and transmission of pain signals, producing temporary numbness at the site of application.
For external use only unless prescribed for mucosal use. Clean and dry the affected area, apply a thin layer of gel to the area 2–3 times daily or as directed by a doctor. Avoid applying on large areas, broken/irritated skin, or under tight occlusion unless advised; wash hands after use.

A substitute contains the same active ingredient (salt), in the same strength, as Zylow Ac 2.5% Gel. The medicine inside is the same — the brand name, manufacturer and price are what differ.
All medicines sold in India, branded or generic, must meet the quality standards set by the national drug regulator (CDSCO). A lower price does not mean lower quality.
Please confirm with your doctor or pharmacist before switching brands — they will check that the strength and form match your prescription.
Do not use if allergic to lidocaine/amide local anaesthetics. Avoid contact with eyes; if contact occurs, rinse well with water. Do not apply to large areas, open wounds, or for prolonged periods without medical advice (risk of systemic absorption). Stop and seek medical help if severe rash, swelling, breathing difficulty, dizziness, or irregular heartbeat occurs. Use with caution in severe liver disease and in children; keep out of reach of children to prevent accidental ingestion.
