Used as a digestive enzyme/appetite stimulant to help in indigestion, bloating, feeling of fullness, and poor appetite (when prescribed).

Digestive enzyme syrups typically help break down proteins and other nutrients, improving digestion and reducing gas/abdominal discomfort. They may also improve appetite by supporting better gastric digestion.

Take orally as directed by a physician. Commonly taken after meals; measure with a dosing cup/spoon and shake well before use. Follow label/doctor advice especially for children.

Nausea, stomach upset, diarrhoea, abdominal discomfort, bloating, allergic reactions (rare)

Do not use if you are allergic to any ingredient in the syrup. Use with caution in patients with gastric ulcer/bleeding disorders (if enzyme contains papain/pepsin) and in liver/pancreatic disorders unless advised by a doctor. Seek medical advice if symptoms persist, severe abdominal pain/vomiting occurs, or there is blood in stools. For children, pregnancy and breastfeeding, use only on medical advice as exact composition is unknown.

May interact with anticoagulants/antiplatelets (risk may increase with some proteolytic enzymes), other digestive enzyme supplements. Separate from other oral medicines by 1–2 hours if gastric upset occurs.

Store below 25°C, protected from light and moisture. Keep bottle tightly closed. Do not freeze. Keep out of reach of children.
