Irban-B 5/3.125 Tablet contains Ivabradine (5mg) + Carvedilol (3.125mg) and is used for this medicine is used. Prescription required.

This medicine is used in the treatment of heart conditions, angina, irregular heartbeat, high blood pressure and heart failure.

This medicine combines 2 active ingredients: Ivabradine and Carvedilol. Ivabradine supports the work of the heart and the circulation. Carvedilol slows the heart and reduces the force of each beat by blocking the effect of adrenaline, so the heart works less hard and uses less oxygen.

Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water. Do not chew, crush or break it unless your doctor has told you to. Take it with or without food, at the same time each day. Taking it at about the same time each day helps you remember. Follow the dose and the duration written on your prescription.

Do not stop or change the dose of a heart medicine on your own. Report fainting, a very slow or very fast pulse, or new breathlessness. Stopping abruptly can cause a sharp rise in blood pressure, worsening chest pain or a heart attack — your doctor will reduce it gradually. Tell your doctor if you have asthma or long-standing lung disease; this group can tighten the airways. If you have diabetes, be aware that this medicine can mask the early warning signs of low blood sugar, apart from sweating. Report a resting pulse that is persistently very slow, or fainting.

Heart medicines interact widely. Tell your doctor and pharmacist about everything you take, including herbal products. Combining with verapamil or diltiazem can slow the heart dangerously. Tell your doctor about diabetes medicines and about any asthma inhaler.

Store below 30°C in the original pack, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep out of the reach of children.
