Protein nutritional supplement used to help meet increased protein needs and support recovery, strength and general wellbeing; may be used in undernutrition, convalescence, elderly nutrition and increased requirements (as advised by a clinician).

Provides dietary protein (and possibly added nutrients) that supplies essential amino acids needed for tissue repair and muscle protein synthesis. Supports positive nitrogen balance and helps improve nutritional status when dietary intake is inadequate.

Oral powder. Mix the recommended scoop/quantity in water or milk and consume immediately; can be taken with or without food. Use as directed on the label or by a doctor/dietitian; do not exceed recommended daily intake.

Nutritional supplement; not a substitute for a varied balanced diet. Use with caution in kidney disease, severe liver disease, diabetes (if sweetened), lactose intolerance or milk/soy allergy depending on ingredients. Not intended for parenteral use. If symptoms persist or you have chronic illness, consult a doctor. Keep out of reach of children.

If fortified with vitamins/minerals, interactions may occur (e.g., calcium/iron reducing absorption of levothyroxine, tetracyclines or quinolones); keep a 2–4 hour gap. Otherwise no significant drug interactions expected with plain protein supplements.

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep the container tightly closed. Use within the period mentioned on the label after opening.
