Sodium Monofluorophosphate 0.76% w/w (equivalent to Fluoride 1000 ppm)
Prevention of dental caries (cavities), strengthening of tooth enamel, reducing tooth sensitivity associated with weak enamel or exposed dentin
Sodium monofluorophosphate provides fluoride ions that enhance remineralization of tooth enamel and make it more resistant to acid attack from plaque bacteria. It also helps reduce demineralization and can decrease dentinal sensitivity by strengthening exposed surfaces.
Toothpaste for topical dental use only. Brush teeth thoroughly for 2–3 minutes, twice daily (or as directed by dentist), preferably after meals. Spit out after brushing; do not swallow. Children should use a pea-sized amount under adult supervision.
Mild mouth irritation, altered taste, nausea (if swallowed), dental fluorosis in children (with excessive ingestion)
Do not swallow; excessive ingestion may cause fluoride toxicity. Supervise children below 6 years; use only pea-sized amount. If irritation or allergy occurs, discontinue and consult a dentist/doctor. Keep out of reach of children. Consult dentist if you have persistent tooth pain, swelling, or severe sensitivity.
No clinically significant drug interactions expected with topical toothpaste use; avoid using multiple fluoride-containing products simultaneously unless advised by a dentist (risk of excess fluoride)
Store below 30°C in a cool, dry place. Keep cap tightly closed. Protect from excessive heat and moisture.
Colgate Strong Teeth (fluoride toothpaste), Pepsodent Germicheck (fluoride toothpaste), Sensodyne Fresh Mint (fluoride toothpaste), Closeup Ever Fresh (fluoride toothpaste), Anchor Toothpaste (fluoride toothpaste)
