Used as an immunomodulator/immune booster in certain viral infections (e.g., chronic hepatitis B/C as adjunct) and as supportive therapy in some immunodeficiency states or as an adjunct in certain cancers, as prescribed by a specialist.

Thymosin alpha-1 is an immunomodulatory peptide that enhances T-cell function and maturation and increases activity of natural killer (NK) cells. It also promotes cytokine responses (e.g., interferon production), thereby improving host immune response against infections and some malignancies.

Use only under specialist supervision. Take the tablet exactly as prescribed, at the same time each day. Swallow whole with water; with or without food unless your doctor advises otherwise. Do not self-adjust dose or duration.

Injection-site reactions (for parenteral forms), headache, fatigue, nausea, abdominal discomfort, dizziness, mild fever, rash

Prescription-only immunomodulator. Use with caution in autoimmune diseases (may worsen symptoms) and in organ transplant recipients on immunosuppressants. Inform your doctor about all ongoing infections, cancer therapy, and immune conditions. Seek medical help for severe allergy (rash, swelling, breathing difficulty). Use only if indicated; monitoring may be required for underlying condition (e.g., hepatitis markers, blood counts).

Immunosuppressants (e.g., corticosteroids, cyclosporine, tacrolimus) may reduce effect; other immunostimulants or interferons may increase immune effects; concurrent chemotherapy/biologics—use only under oncologist guidance.

Store at room temperature (below 25°C), protected from light and moisture. Keep in original blister pack and out of reach of children.
