Xylomist P Nasal D 10 ml contains Xylometazoline (0.05% w/v) and is used for nasal congestion (blocked nose).

Xylomist-P Nasal Drops is a nasal decongestant. It helps in opening up the nasal passages by reducing excessive nasal secretions and also reducing the swelling in the blood vessels in the inner surface of the nose. This provides temporary relief from congestion or stuffiness in the nose.

Use this medicine as your doctor has directed. Follow the dose and the duration written on your prescription.

Xylomist-P Nasal Drops does not pose serious side effects and is well-tolerated by children. In case the side effects do occur, they’re likely to subside once the body adapts to the medicine. Consult your child’s doctor if these side effects persist or bother your child. The most common side effects include-

Do not use a medicated nasal decongestant for more than the few days stated on the pack. Longer use causes rebound congestion that is worse than the original block. Saline drops and sprays have no such limit and are safe for repeated use. Use your own bottle only — sharing spreads infection.

Decongestants can raise blood pressure; tell your doctor if you are hypertensive.

Store below 30°C in the original pack, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep out of the reach of children.
