Symptomatic relief of wet cough (productive cough) associated with common cold/upper respiratory tract infections; helps loosen mucus and ease breathing.

Zedex AF Syrup is a cough formulation that helps in loosening and mobilising thick mucus from the airways, making it easier to cough out. This reduces chest congestion and provides relief from productive cough symptoms.

Shake well before use. Measure the dose with a calibrated spoon/cup. Take as prescribed by the doctor; usually taken after food to reduce stomach upset. Maintain adequate fluid intake. Do not exceed the recommended dose or combine with other cough/cold medicines unless advised.

Nausea, vomiting, stomach upset, diarrhoea, abdominal pain, dizziness, headache, drowsiness, rash

Use with caution in asthma/COPD, severe liver or kidney disease, and in patients with a history of gastric ulcer. May cause dizziness/drowsiness in some people—avoid driving if affected. Not recommended for self-use in children, during pregnancy or breastfeeding without medical advice. Seek medical help if cough persists >7 days, is accompanied by high fever, wheezing, breathlessness, blood in sputum, or if symptoms worsen.

Other cough and cold medicines (risk of duplicate ingredients), alcohol and other CNS depressants (increased drowsiness), sedatives/antihistamines (additive sedation)

Store below 25°C in a cool, dry place. Protect from light. Keep the bottle tightly closed. Keep out of reach of children.
