Relief of common cold symptoms such as nasal congestion, runny nose, sneezing, watery eyes, sinus pressure/headache and associated fever/body ache (symptomatic treatment).
ZYRCOLD-D is a combination cold medicine. Typically, it contains an antihistamine to reduce sneezing/runny nose, a decongestant to shrink swollen nasal passages and relieve blocked nose, and an analgesic/antipyretic to reduce fever and body pain.
Shake well before use. Measure the dose with a measuring cup/spoon. Take as advised by a doctor; usually given 2–3 times daily depending on age. Can be taken with or without food; take with food if it upsets the stomach. Do not exceed the recommended dose or use for prolonged periods without medical advice.
Drowsiness, dizziness, dry mouth, nausea, vomiting, stomach upset, constipation, headache, nervousness, palpitations, increased heart rate
May cause drowsiness—avoid driving or operating machinery. Do not use with other cold/flu products containing similar ingredients (especially paracetamol/acetaminophen) to prevent overdose. Use with caution in hypertension, heart disease, hyperthyroidism, diabetes, glaucoma, enlarged prostate/urinary retention, liver disease, and in the elderly. Seek medical advice before use in children, during breastfeeding, or if symptoms persist beyond 3–5 days, high fever persists, or breathing difficulty occurs.
