Cefalexin (250mg)
Treatment of Bacterial infections Treatment of Urinary tract infections (UTIs) Treatment of Superficial Pyoderma
Phexin 250mg Capsule works by stopping bacteria from building their protective cell walls. It binds to specific proteins in the bacteria, blocking the formation of peptidoglycan, a key component of the cell wall. Without this support, the bacterial wall becomes weak and breaks, leading to the death of the bacteria. This makes Phexin 250mg Capsule effective in treating bacterial infections.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Phexin 250mg Capsule may be taken with or without food.

A substitute contains the same active ingredient (salt), in the same strength, as Phexin 250 Capsule. The medicine inside is the same — the brand name, manufacturer and price are what differ.
All medicines sold in India, branded or generic, must meet the quality standards set by the national drug regulator (CDSCO). A lower price does not mean lower quality.
Please confirm with your doctor or pharmacist before switching brands — they will check that the strength and form match your prescription.
