Ceff 250 Capsule contains Cefalexin (250mg).
Treatment of Bacterial infections Treatment of Urinary tract infections (UTIs) Treatment of Superficial Pyoderma
Ceff 250mg Tablet DT works by stopping bacteria from building their protective cell walls. It binds to specific proteins in the bacteria, blocking the formation of peptidoglycan, a key component of the cell wall. Without this support, the bacterial wall becomes weak and breaks, leading to the death of the bacteria. This makes Ceff 250mg Tablet DT effective in treating bacterial infections.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Dissolve it in a glass of water before taking it. Ceff 250mg Tablet DT may be taken with or without food.
Take it exactly as your doctor prescribed. Do not change the dose or stop early on your own.
If you miss a dose of Ceff 250mg Tablet DT, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
Taking more Ceff than prescribed can be harmful. If you suspect an overdose, contact a doctor or go to the nearest emergency department at once, and carry the pack or strip with you. In India the emergency number is 112.
Most side effects of Ceff are mild and settle as the body adjusts. Reported side effects include:
Stop the medicine and seek help immediately for a rash, swelling of the face or lips, wheezing or difficulty breathing. Tell your doctor about any side effect that persists or worries you.
