• Insulin
• sulfonylureas (e.g.
• glimepiride
• gliclazide) – increased hypoglycaemia risk; digoxin – may reduce absorption; intestinal adsorbents (e.g.
• activated charcoal) and digestive enzyme preparations – may reduce effect; other antidiabetic medicines – additive glucose lowering
