Uses of Voglyson 0.3 Tab

Management of type 2 diabetes mellitus; helps control post‑meal (postprandial) blood glucose, usually as an add‑on to diet, exercise and/or other antidiabetic medicines

How it works

Voglibose is an alpha‑glucosidase inhibitor that delays the breakdown and absorption of carbohydrates in the intestine. This reduces the rise in blood glucose levels after meals and improves overall glycaemic control.

Directions for use

Oral tablet; usually taken just before the start of a meal (or with the first bite) as prescribed by the doctor. Follow diet and exercise advice; do not skip meals after taking. If you miss a dose, take it with the next meal—do not double the dose.
