Ticagrelor 90 mg
Prevention of atherothrombotic events (heart attack, stroke, cardiovascular death) in adults with acute coronary syndrome (ACS) or history of myocardial infarction; used with low-dose aspirin as prescribed.
Ticagrelor is an antiplatelet medicine that reversibly inhibits the platelet P2Y12 ADP receptor. This reduces platelet activation and aggregation, lowering the risk of clot formation in coronary arteries.
Take by mouth exactly as prescribed, usually along with low-dose aspirin. Can be taken with or without food; swallow with water at the same time each day. Do not stop abruptly without cardiologist advice; if a dose is missed, take the next dose at the regular time (do not double).
Common side effects of XYGREL 90MG TAB may include:
Increases risk of bleeding; seek urgent help for unusual bleeding, black stools, blood in urine, or coughing/vomiting blood. Contraindicated in active pathological bleeding or history of intracranial hemorrhage; caution in recent surgery/trauma, bleeding disorders, severe liver disease. Inform doctor/dentist before any procedure. Do not use with aspirin doses >100 mg daily unless specifically advised. May cause dyspnea; report persistent or severe breathlessness.
