A substitute contains the same active ingredient (salt), in the same strength, as Xygrel 90MG Tab. The medicine inside is the same — the brand name, manufacturer and price are what differ.
Ticagrelor (60mg)
Prevention of atherothrombotic events (heart attack, stroke, cardiovascular death) in adults with acute coronary syndrome (ACS) or history of myocardial infarction; used with low-dose aspirin as prescribed.
Ticagrelor is an antiplatelet medicine that reversibly inhibits the platelet P2Y12 ADP receptor. This reduces platelet activation and aggregation, lowering the risk of clot formation in coronary arteries.
Take by mouth exactly as prescribed, usually along with low-dose aspirin. Can be taken with or without food; swallow with water at the same time each day. Do not stop abruptly without cardiologist advice; if a dose is missed, take the next dose at the regular time (do not double).
