Treatment and prevention of Blood clots

Clexane 60mg Injection (0.6ml Each) is an anticoagulant. It works by inactivating certain blood-clotting proteins. This prevents the formation of blood clots and prevents blockages in the blood vessels of the body.

Your doctor or nurse will give you this medicine. Kindly do not self administer.

Bleeding , Headache , Low blood platelets , Increased liver enzymes , Anemia (low number of red blood cells) , Fever , Injection site pain , Breathing problems , Edema (swelling) , Diarrhea

Seek urgent care for black or tarry stools, blood in the vomit or urine, a severe headache, or bleeding that will not stop. Tell every doctor and dentist treating you that you are on a blood thinner, well before any procedure. Never stop this medicine on your own before surgery or dental work — stopping it carries its own risk, and the decision is your doctor's. Avoid contact sports and take care with razors and sharp tools.

Anti-inflammatory painkillers, including over-the-counter ones, sharply raise the bleeding risk. Combining two blood thinners multiplies the risk — never add one yourself. Tell your doctor about all herbal products; several affect clotting.

Store as printed on the carton — some injections need refrigeration and must not be frozen. Keep out of the reach of children.
