Before you take it
Encorate Tablet is unsafe to use during pregnancy.<br/>There is positive evidence of human fetal risk, but the benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk, for example in life-threatening situations. Please consult your doctor.
Encorate Tablet is safe to use during lactation. Human studies have shown that either the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in significant amount or is not expected to cause toxicity to the baby.<br/>Monitor the baby for unusual bruising or bleeding, jaundice and other signs of liver damage.
Encorate Tablet may cause excessive drowsiness and calmness with alcohol.
Do not drive or operate machinery while taking this medicine.
Encorate Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Encorate Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.
Encorate Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Encorate Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.<br/>Use of Encorate Tablet is not recommended in patients with the severe liver disease.

Encorate 200 Tablet contains Sodium Valproate (200mg). Prescription required.
Encorate Tablet is used in the treatment of seizures, migraine and mania.
Encorate Tablet is an antiepileptic medication. It controls seizures or fits by decreasing the abnormal and excessive activity of the nerve cells in the brain.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Encorate Tablet is to be taken with food.

Use with caution in patients with liver disease, pancreatitis, or urea cycle disorders. Regular monitoring of liver function is recommended.
May interact with other antiepileptic drugs, anticoagulants, and certain antidepressants.
Store in a cool, dry place away from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
