This medicine is used in the treatment of bacterial infection, urinary infection, chest infection, gut infection, eczema, dermatitis, psoriasis and skin inflammation and itching.

This medicine combines 2 active ingredients: Moxifloxacin and Difluprednate. Moxifloxacin kills the bacteria causing your infection by blocking the enzymes they use to copy their DNA. Difluprednate damps down the inflammation in the skin, which relieves redness, swelling and itching.

Use this medicine as your doctor has directed. Follow the dose and the duration written on your prescription.

Nausea, Loose motions, Headache, Dizziness, Sleep disturbance, Burning or stinging, Thinning of the skin, Stretch marks, Acne, Change in skin colour

Stop and contact your doctor at once if you develop pain, swelling or tenderness in a tendon — the Achilles tendon at the back of the ankle in particular. This group can damage tendons, and the risk is higher in older people and with steroids. Report any new numbness, tingling or burning in the hands or feet promptly. Tell your doctor about any change in mood, confusion or agitation. Avoid strong sunlight and use sun protection — this group makes the skin burn more easily. Finish the whole course; this group is heavily associated with antibiotic resistance and should be used only when prescribed. Use it only on the area and for the number of days your doctor specified. Potent steroid creams thin the skin permanently when used for too long. Never use a potent steroid cream on the face, the groin or the underarms unless your doctor has specifically told you to — the skin there is thin and absorbs much more. Do not use it on an infection. A steroid on ringworm, impetigo or herpes makes the infection worse while hiding it. Do not use leftover cream on a new rash, and never pass it to someone else. Stop and see your doctor if the area becomes more painful, weepy or crusted.

Antacids, iron, zinc, calcium and milk markedly reduce absorption — separate them by at least two hours. Tell your doctor if you take steroids, a blood thinner or a medicine for heart rhythm. No significant interactions are expected from preparations used on the skin.

Store below 30°C in the original pack, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep out of the reach of children.
