Diabetes-specific nutrition formulas typically use a blend of slowly digestible carbohydrates, dietary fibre and higher proportion of mono-unsaturated fats to reduce post-meal glucose spikes. Added protein and essential vitamins/minerals help maintain muscle mass and overall nutrition.

Oral powder. Mix the recommended number of scoops in water as per pack directions and consume immediately. Can be taken between meals or as a meal replacement as advised by a doctor/dietitian; monitor blood glucose regularly.

Not for parenteral (IV) use. Use with caution in renal impairment, hepatic impairment, or those on fluid-restricted diets; consult doctor/dietitian for individualized intake. Monitor blood glucose if you are on antidiabetic medicines/insulin to avoid hypoglycaemia. Not intended for infants; use in children, pregnancy or lactation only on medical advice. Discontinue and seek medical help if allergic reactions occur.

Antidiabetic medicines/insulin (may require dose adjustment), levothyroxine (separate by at least 4 hours if used as major nutrition source), quinolone/tetracycline antibiotics (minerals may reduce absorption; separate by 2-4 hours)

Store in a cool, dry place away from heat, light and moisture. Keep container tightly closed. Use within the period mentioned on the label after opening.
