Topical antiseptic/antifungal used for minor skin and mucosal infections such as oral thrush (candidiasis), superficial fungal infections, and minor cuts/abrasions as advised by a doctor

Gentian violet is a topical antiseptic dye with antifungal and antibacterial activity. It damages microbial cells and inhibits their growth on the skin/mucosa, helping control superficial infections.

For external use only. Clean and dry the affected area, then apply a thin layer using a cotton swab/applicator 1–2 times daily or as directed by a physician. Avoid contact with eyes; wash hands after use. It can stain skin, clothes and surfaces.

Burning or stinging, skin irritation, redness, dryness, itching, staining/discoloration, rarely allergic reaction

For external use only. Do not use in/near eyes; if accidental contact occurs, rinse with plenty of water and seek medical advice. Avoid use on large areas, deep wounds, severe burns or broken skin unless advised by a doctor. Stop use if rash, swelling, severe irritation or signs of allergy occur. Use with caution on mucous membranes and in infants; follow medical advice for oral thrush. May stain clothing and contact lenses.

No significant systemic drug interactions expected with topical use; avoid combining with other irritating topical products on the same area unless advised

Store at room temperature below 25°C, tightly closed. Protect from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
