VOXIdep 100mg Tablet is a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) antidepressant. It works by increasing the levels of serotonin, a chemical messenger in the brain. This improves mood and physical symptoms of depression and also relieves symptoms of obsessive-compulsive disorders.
How to take Voxidep 50 mg
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. VOXIdep 100mg Tablet may be taken with or without food.
Take it exactly as your doctor prescribed. Do not change the dose or stop early on your own.
Missed dose and overdose
If you miss a dose
If you miss a dose of VOXIdep 100mg Tablet, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

Do not stop taking the medication suddenly without talking to your doctor. It can take 2-3 weeks for VOXIdep 100mg Tablet to start working. Do not stop treatment suddenly as this may cause upset stomach, flu-like withdrawal symptoms and sleep disturbance. If your doctor asks you to stop VOXIdep 100mg Tablet, you should reduce the dose slowly over 4 weeks. Avoid consuming alcohol when taking VOXIdep 100mg Tablet, as it may cause excessive drowsiness and calmness. The addiction/dependence potential of VOXIdep 100mg Tablet is very less.
