Digeplex Syrup is a medicine. It is used for indigestion (dyspepsia), acidity, heartburn, gas, bloating and used as a digestive aid after meals. It belongs to the group of medicines called Antacid combination (varies by formulation).
Shake well before use. The dose and how long you take it depend on what you are being treated for and how you respond. Do not take more, or for longer, than your doctor has advised.
The side effects seen most often with Digeplex Syrup are nausea, abdominal discomfort, diarrhea and constipation. Most are mild and settle as the body gets used to the medicine. Tell your doctor if one persists or worries you.
Before you start, tell your doctor about any liver, kidney or heart problem, whether you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy or breastfeeding, and every other medicine you take, including supplements and ayurvedic preparations. Some of them can change how Digeplex Syrup works.

Most side effects of Digeplex are mild and settle as the body gets used to the medicine. The ones reported most often are:
Stop the medicine and get help at once for a rash, swelling of the face or lips, wheezing or difficulty breathing. Tell your doctor about any side effect that persists or worries you.
Shake well before use. Take the prescribed dose by mouth, usually after meals and/or at bedtime. Use the measuring cup/spoon; follow doctor/pharmacist advice for duration.
Digestion/antacid syrups typically work by neutralizing excess stomach acid and improving digestive function, thereby reducing heartburn and epigastric discomfort. Some formulations also reduce gas formation and relieve abdominal bloating.
Do not use for prolonged periods without medical advice. Consult a doctor if symptoms persist, recur frequently, or are associated with weight loss, persistent vomiting, blood in stools/vomit, or severe abdominal pain. Use with caution in kidney disease and in patients on a sodium-restricted diet (if the product contains sodium salts).
Store below 25°C in a cool, dry place away from direct light. Keep the bottle tightly closed. Keep out of reach of children.
