Salbair-B Inh is a prescription medicine. Maintenance treatment of asthma and wheezing with airway inflammation; helps prevent symptoms such as shortness of breath, chest tightness and cough. Not meant for relief of sudden acute asthma attacks. It belongs to the group of medicines called Short-acting beta2-agonist (SABA) + Inhaled corticosteroid (ICS).
Inhalation use only. The dose and how long you take it depend on what you are being treated for and how you respond. Do not take more, or for longer, than your doctor has advised.
The side effects seen most often with Salbair-B Inh are throat irritation, hoarseness, cough and headache. Most are mild and settle as the body gets used to the medicine. Tell your doctor if one persists or worries you.
Before you start, tell your doctor about any liver, kidney or heart problem, whether you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy or breastfeeding, and every other medicine you take, including supplements and ayurvedic preparations. Some of them can change how Salbair-B Inh works.

Most side effects of Salbair-B Inh are mild and settle as the body gets used to the medicine. The ones reported most often are:
Stop the medicine and get help at once for a rash, swelling of the face or lips, wheezing or difficulty breathing. Tell your doctor about any side effect that persists or worries you.
Inhalation use only. Use exactly as prescribed; commonly 1–2 puffs twice daily. Rinse mouth and gargle with water after each use to reduce risk of oral thrush. If using other inhalers, use bronchodilator first and steroid combination as advised. Not for sudden breathlessness—keep a rescue inhaler available if prescribed.
Beclometasone is an inhaled corticosteroid that reduces airway inflammation, swelling and mucus production over time. Levosalbutamol is a short-acting beta2-agonist that relaxes bronchial smooth muscles to open the airways and ease breathing.
Do not use to treat an acute asthma attack. Use with caution in heart disease, arrhythmias, hypertension, hyperthyroidism, diabetes and seizure disorders. Inhaled steroids may cause oral candidiasis—rinse mouth after use. Long-term/high-dose steroid use may increase risk of adrenal suppression, glaucoma/cataract, decreased bone mineral density and growth suppression in children. Seek urgent care if breathing worsens after use (paradoxical bronchospasm) or if frequent rescue medication is needed.
Take it as soon as you remember. If your next dose is almost due, skip the one you missed — never take two doses together to catch up.
An overdose of this medicine can cause a racing heart, marked tremor, headache and a fall in blood potassium. Do not wait for symptoms to appear — go to the nearest emergency department and take the pack or strip with you.
Beta-blockers (may reduce effect/trigger bronchospasm),other sympathomimetics,MAO inhibitors or tricyclic antidepressants (increase cardiovascular effects),diuretics (risk of hypokalemia),digoxin (arrhythmia risk with low potassium),strong CYP3A inhibitors like ritonavir/cobicistat/ketoconazole (may increase corticosteroid systemic effects)
Store at room temperature (below 25°C), protected from direct heat/sunlight and moisture. Do not freeze. Pressurised canister: do not puncture or expose to flame. Keep out of reach of children.
