Collection and drainage of urine in patients with urinary catheters; monitoring urine output in hospital or home-care settings; postoperative or immobilized patients requiring continuous urine drainage.

This is a sterile/medical device, not a drug. It passively collects urine drained from a urinary catheter via a connecting tube into a calibrated bag and allows controlled emptying through a drain outlet/valve to reduce spillage and contamination.

Connect the inlet tube to the urinary catheter using aseptic technique. Keep the bag below bladder level at all times and avoid kinks in tubing. Secure the bag to the bed/leg as applicable; do not allow the outlet to touch the floor. Empty via the drain valve into a clean container when 1/2 to 2/3 full; close valve securely. Replace as per clinician/hospital protocol or if leakage/odour/soiling occurs.

Single-use unless explicitly stated otherwise on pack; do not use if packaging is damaged, leaking, or past expiry. Maintain a closed drainage system and hand hygiene to reduce UTI risk. Keep bag below bladder level to prevent backflow. Do not disconnect unnecessarily; avoid kinks/pressure on tubing. Seek medical help for fever, burning pain, foul-smelling/cloudy urine, blood in urine, or reduced urine output.

Store in a clean, dry place at room temperature, away from direct sunlight, heat, and moisture. Keep in original packaging until use.
