Oflomac-M Forte Suspension is an antibiotic, having ofloxacin and metronidazole as its active ingredients. Both these medicines damage the DNA of the infection-causing bacteria, thus killing it by stopping its growth. This prevents the infection from spreading without making the bacteria resistant to further treatment.

Take as directed by a physician. Usually administered orally, with or without food. Shake well before use.

Oflomac-M Forte Suspension does not pose serious side effects and is well-tolerated by children. In case the side effects do occur, they’re likely to subside once the body adapts to the medicine. Consult your child’s doctor if these side effects persist or bother your child. The most common side effects include-

Use with caution in patients with a history of seizures, renal impairment, or those taking other medications that may affect kidney function.

May interact with antacids, sucralfate, and other drugs that affect renal function.

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Keep out of reach of children.
