Waxodiz Eye Drops is a prescription medicine. It is used for lubrication, relief of dry eye symptoms such as burning, irritation, foreign body sensation, discomfort due to dryness (e.g., environmental exposure and prolonged screen use). It belongs to the group of medicines called Ocular lubricants/demulcents.
For ophthalmic use only. The dose and how long you take it depend on what you are being treated for and how you respond. Do not take more, or for longer, than your doctor has advised.
The side effects seen most often with Waxodiz Eye Drops are temporary burning or stinging, blurred vision for a short time, eye redness and watery eyes. Most are mild and settle as the body gets used to the medicine. Tell your doctor if one persists or worries you.
Before you start, tell your doctor about any liver, kidney or heart problem, whether you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy or breastfeeding, and every other medicine you take, including supplements and ayurvedic preparations. Some of them can change how Waxodiz Eye Drops works.

Most side effects of Waxodiz are mild and settle as the body gets used to the medicine. The ones reported most often are:
Stop the medicine and get help at once for a rash, swelling of the face or lips, wheezing or difficulty breathing. Tell your doctor about any side effect that persists or worries you.
For ophthalmic use only. Instill 1–2 drops in the affected eye(s) as needed or as directed by an eye specialist. Wash hands before use; avoid touching the dropper tip; remove contact lenses if advised and reinsert after 10–15 minutes (if compatible).
Lubricating eye drops act like artificial tears to supplement the natural tear film. They moisten the eye surface, reduce friction during blinking and help relieve irritation due to dryness.
Do not use if you are allergic to any component. If pain, vision changes, persistent redness/irritation, or discharge occurs, stop use and consult an eye doctor. Avoid contaminating the dropper tip; do not share the bottle. If using other eye medicines, keep a 10–15 minute gap. Discard the bottle within the period mentioned on the label after opening (commonly 28–30 days).
Store at room temperature (below 25–30°C), protected from light and moisture. Keep the bottle tightly closed. Do not freeze.
