How Agonyx Gel works

Topical pain-relief gels typically work by providing local anti-inflammatory and/or counter-irritant action on the skin and underlying tissues. This reduces pain signals and inflammation at the site of application, improving mobility and comfort.

How to take Agonyx Gel

For external use only. Apply a thin layer on the affected area and gently massage until absorbed, 2–4 times daily or as directed by a doctor. Wash hands after use; avoid contact with eyes, mouth and broken/irritated skin.

Take it exactly as your doctor prescribed. Do not change the dose or stop early on your own.

Missed dose and overdose

If you miss a dose

Take the missed dose of Agonyx as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed one and carry on with the usual schedule. Do not take two doses together to make up for a missed dose.

If you take too much

Taking more Agonyx than prescribed can be harmful. If you suspect an overdose, contact a doctor or go to the nearest emergency department at once, and carry the pack or strip with you. In India the emergency number is 112.

Side effects of Agonyx Gel

Most side effects of Agonyx are mild and settle as the body adjusts. Reported side effects include:

Stop the medicine and seek help immediately for a rash, swelling of the face or lips, wheezing or difficulty breathing. Tell your doctor about any side effect that persists or worries you.

Warnings and precautions

Do not apply on cuts, wounds, eczema or infected skin. Stop use and consult a doctor if severe irritation, rash or swelling occurs. Avoid tight bandaging/heating pads unless advised. Use with caution in children and in people with known allergy to topical analgesics/NSAIDs. If pain persists beyond 7–10 days or worsens, seek medical advice.

Interactions with other medicines

If the gel contains an NSAID (e.g., diclofenac), concurrent use with other NSAIDs/aspirin or anticoagulants may increase bleeding risk though systemic absorption is usually low. Using multiple topical irritants together may increase skin irritation.

How to store Agonyx Gel

Store in a cool, dry place below 25°C. Protect from direct sunlight and heat. Keep the cap tightly closed and out of reach of children.
