Dayo OD 500 contains Divalproex (500mg).
Dayo OD 500 Tablet is an antiepileptic medication. It controls seizures or fits by decreasing the abnormal and excessive activity of the nerve cells in the brain.
Use it as advised by your doctor or check the label for directions before use. Dayo OD 500 Tablet is to be taken with food.
Take it exactly as your doctor prescribed. Do not change the dose or stop early on your own.
Take the missed dose of Dayo OD as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed one and carry on with the usual schedule. Do not take two doses together to make up for a missed dose.
Taking more Dayo OD than prescribed can be harmful. If you suspect an overdose, contact a doctor or go to the nearest emergency department at once, and carry the pack or strip with you. In India the emergency number is 112.
Most side effects of Dayo OD are mild and settle as the body adjusts. Reported side effects include:
Stop the medicine and seek help immediately for a rash, swelling of the face or lips, wheezing or difficulty breathing. Tell your doctor about any side effect that persists or worries you.

Tell your doctor or pharmacist about every medicine you take, including over-the-counter products, vitamins and herbal or ayurvedic preparations, before starting Dayo OD. Some combinations can change how Dayo OD works or raise the chance of side effects.
Store Dayo OD below 30°C in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep the pack tightly closed and out of the reach of children. Do not use it after the expiry date printed on the pack.
