Bath emollient (paraffin-based moisturising oils/emollients)
Dry skin (xerosis), atopic dermatitis/eczema and itchy, scaly skin; used as a soap substitute or as an emollient additive to bath water to reduce dryness and irritation
Bath emollients form an occlusive, protective film over the skin surface and supplement skin lipids. This reduces transepidermal water loss, softens scales and relieves dryness and itching.
For external use only. Add the recommended amount to bath water and soak as advised, or apply to wet skin during bathing as a cleanser/soap substitute; rinse lightly and pat dry. Use regularly, especially after bathing; avoid contact with eyes and broken/oozing skin unless advised by a doctor.
Common side effects of LACTOBABE BATH EMOLLIENT 100ML may include:
May make bath/shower surfaces slippery—use caution and rinse surfaces after use. Do not swallow. Avoid eyes; rinse with water if contact occurs. Stop use and seek medical advice if severe irritation, swelling or worsening of eczema occurs. Keep away from open flames if product contains paraffin/oily emollients (risk of fabric contamination increasing flammability).
