Linox 600 is used for linox 600 Tablet is used in the treatment of severe bacterial infections. It is used for the treatment of bacterial infections of lungs (Pneumonia), skin & soft tissues.

Linox 600 contains Linezolid (600mg). It belongs to the Lincosamide class of medicines.
Linox 600 Tablet is an antibiotic. It stops bacterial growth by preventing synthesis of essential proteins required by bacteria to carry out vital functions.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Linox 600 Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.<br>Avoid Linox 600 Tablet with tyramine-rich food such as cheese, smoked fish, meats and some types of beer.
Take it exactly as your doctor prescribed. Do not change the dose or stop early on your own.
Take the missed dose of Linox as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed one and carry on with the usual schedule. Do not take two doses together to make up for a missed dose.
Taking more Linox than prescribed can be harmful. If you suspect an overdose, contact a doctor or go to the nearest emergency department at once, and carry the pack or strip with you. In India the emergency number is 112.
Most side effects of Linox are mild and settle as the body adjusts. Reported side effects include:
Stop the medicine and seek help immediately for a rash, swelling of the face or lips, wheezing or difficulty breathing. Tell your doctor about any side effect that persists or worries you.

Use with caution in patients with a history of gastrointestinal diseases, particularly colitis. Discontinue use if severe diarrhea occurs.
May interact with neuromuscular blockers, erythromycin, and other antibiotics.
Store at room temperature, away from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
