Domperidone 30 mg (as sustained/modified release) + Pantoprazole 40 mg (as enteric-coated) capsule
Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), acidity/heartburn, gastritis, indigestion (dyspepsia) associated with nausea/vomiting due to reflux
Pantoprazole is a proton pump inhibitor that reduces stomach acid by blocking the H+/K+ ATPase pump in gastric parietal cells. Domperidone is a dopamine (D2) receptor antagonist that enhances gastric motility and has anti-nausea action, helping reduce reflux symptoms.
Oral capsule. Usually taken once daily, 30 minutes before food (preferably before breakfast). Swallow whole; do not crush or chew. Use as directed by a doctor.
Common side effects of ZOMSET D 40MG CAP may include:
Use with caution in liver disease. Domperidone may increase risk of QT prolongation/serious heart rhythm problems—avoid in patients with known QT prolongation, significant electrolyte disturbances, or heart failure; do not exceed prescribed dose. Long-term PPI use may be associated with low magnesium, vitamin B12 deficiency, fractures, and increased risk of gastrointestinal infections; use the lowest effective dose. Seek medical advice if alarm symptoms occur (blood in stool/vomit, persistent vomiting, unexplained weight loss, difficulty swallowing).
