Used for obstructive airway diseases such as bronchial asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) to relieve bronchospasm, cough and breathing difficulty.

Acebrophylline is a bronchodilator and mucoregulator. It relaxes bronchial smooth muscle to open the airways and helps reduce mucus viscosity and improve its clearance, easing breathing.

Tablet (SR): Take exactly as prescribed, usually once or twice daily. Swallow whole with water; do not crush/chew/break. Can be taken with food to reduce stomach upset; take at the same time each day.

Nausea, vomiting, stomach pain/indigestion, diarrhea, headache, dizziness, tremor, palpitations, restlessness/insomnia, rash

Use with caution in heart disease/arrhythmias, hypertension, hyperthyroidism, seizure disorders, peptic ulcer disease, and liver or kidney impairment. Stop and seek medical help if severe palpitations, chest pain, allergic reaction, or persistent vomiting occurs. Not for acute severe asthma attack unless advised by a doctor. Elderly may be more prone to side effects.

Store below 25°C in a cool, dry place. Protect from moisture and direct light. Keep out of reach of children.
