A24 500 mg Tablet is used in the treatment of bacterial infections. It is used in bacterial infections of tonsils, sinus, ear, nose, throat, skin and soft tissues, and lungs (pneumonia).

A24 500 mg Tablet is an antibiotic. It works by preventing synthesis of essential proteins required by bacteria to carry out vital functions. Thus, it stops the bacteria from growing, and prevents the infection from spreading.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. A24 500 mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Finish the whole course even after you feel better. Tell your doctor if you have a heart rhythm problem or take a medicine for one — this group can affect the heart's electrical timing. Report severe or watery loose motions during or after the course rather than treating them yourself.

Interacts with a long list of medicines, including statins, some heart medicines and blood thinners — tell your doctor everything you take. Antacids reduce absorption; separate them by a couple of hours.
