Acetik Hc Ear Drops contains Hydrocortisone + Acetic acid and is used for this medicine is used. Prescription required.

This medicine is used in the treatment of inflammation, allergic reactions, autoimmune conditions, asthma flare, wound cleaning, minor cuts and grazes and skin disinfection.

This medicine combines 2 active ingredients: Hydrocortisone and Acetic Acid. Hydrocortisone suppresses inflammation and calms an over-active immune response throughout the body. Acetic Acid kills germs on the skin and in a wound, reducing the chance of infection.

Warm the bottle by holding it in your hand for a minute, lie with the affected ear facing up, put the drops in and stay in that position for a few minutes. Do not let the dropper tip touch the ear. Follow the dose and the duration written on your prescription.

Never stop a course of more than a few days suddenly. Your body stops making its own steroid while you take these, and abrupt withdrawal can cause a dangerous collapse. Your doctor will taper the dose. Tell any doctor treating you that you take steroids, and say so urgently if you develop a serious infection, injury or need surgery — you may need a higher dose to cope. Steroids raise blood sugar. If you have diabetes, monitor it more closely during a course. Long-term use thins bones, raises the risk of infection, cataract and glaucoma. Your doctor will monitor and may add bone protection. Chickenpox and measles can be severe in people on steroids — seek advice promptly after any contact. For external use only. Keep away from the eyes and the inside of the mouth and nose unless the product is made for that purpose. Do not use a strong antiseptic repeatedly on an open wound — clean running water and soap around the edges are usually better, and harsh antiseptics slow healing. See a doctor for a deep or dirty wound, an animal bite, a wound that will not stop bleeding, or one that becomes red, swollen, warm or discharges. Check that your tetanus cover is current after any dirty or penetrating wound.

Anti-inflammatory painkillers together with steroids markedly raise the risk of stomach bleeding. Live vaccines are generally avoided during significant steroid treatment. No significant interactions are expected.

Store below 30°C, away from direct sunlight. Discard the bottle one month after you first open it. Keep out of the reach of children.
