Acotrust 100 mg Tablet contains Acotiamide 100 mg. Prescription required.

Treatment of functional dyspepsia (indigestion) with symptoms such as post-meal fullness, early satiety, upper abdominal discomfort/bloating and nausea.

Acotiamide is a prokinetic/gastroprokinetic agent that enhances acetylcholine release in the enteric nervous system and improves gastric motility. It promotes better stomach accommodation and gastric emptying, reducing dyspeptic symptoms after meals.

Take as prescribed by the doctor. Common adult regimen is 100 mg tablet three times daily, usually before meals. Swallow whole with water; do not crush/chew. Duration depends on symptom control.

Use with caution in liver impairment; monitor if symptoms persist or worsen. Seek medical advice if you have alarm symptoms (unintentional weight loss, persistent vomiting, blood in stools/black stools, difficulty swallowing). Not recommended for children unless prescribed. Inform doctor about all medicines and medical conditions.

Anticholinergics (may reduce effect),cholinergic drugs (additive effect),other prokinetics (additive GI effects). Clinically significant CYP interactions are not prominent, but inform your doctor about all medicines.
