Admenta 10 Tablet is an N-methyl-D-aspartate (NMDA) receptor antagonist. Memory loss in Alzheimer’s disease is due to excessive production of glutamate (chemical messenger) in the brain which is mediated by NMDA receptors. Admenta 10 Tablet works by preventing the action of NMDA receptors and regulates the production of glutamate. involved in the transmission of nerve signals. Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Admenta 10 Tablet may be taken with or without food.

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them

Never stop a Parkinson's medicine suddenly — this can cause a severe and dangerous deterioration. Dose timing matters a great deal in Parkinson's disease. Take it at exactly the times prescribed. Report sudden daytime sleep attacks, hallucinations, or new gambling, spending or other impulsive behaviour — these are recognised effects and the dose may need review. Rise slowly from sitting or lying; a drop in blood pressure on standing is common.

Anti-emetics such as metoclopramide and some antipsychotics can worsen Parkinson's symptoms. High-protein meals can reduce the absorption of levodopa — ask your doctor about timing.
