Aldosmin 1000 mg Tablet

Aldosmin 1000 mg Tablet contains Diosmin 1000 mg. Prescription required.

Treatment of chronic venous insufficiency (varicose veins) symptoms such as leg pain, heaviness, swelling and cramps; symptomatic treatment of hemorrhoids (piles), including acute hemorrhoidal attacks (as advised by doctor).

Diosmin is a venoactive flavonoid that improves venous tone and reduces venous stasis. It also decreases capillary permeability and inflammation, helping reduce edema (swelling) and hemorrhoidal symptoms.

Tablet for oral use. Take as prescribed by your doctor, preferably with meals and a glass of water. For venous symptoms it is commonly taken once daily; for acute hemorrhoids higher/short-course dosing may be advised—follow the prescription and do not self-escalate.

Use with caution if you have allergy to diosmin/flavonoids. Seek medical advice if rectal bleeding, worsening hemorrhoid symptoms, severe abdominal pain, or symptoms persist beyond a few days. Not a substitute for compression/ lifestyle measures in venous disease. Use in children only if prescribed.

No clinically significant interactions commonly reported; however, inform your doctor about all medicines/supplements you take, especially anticoagulants/antiplatelets (e.g., warfarin, aspirin, clopidogrel) due to bleeding-symptom evaluation in hemorrhoids.
