Althrocin 250 Tablet is an antibiotic. It works by inhibiting the production of key proteins that bacteria need to perform essential tasks. Thus, it stops the bacteria from growing and prevents the infection from spreading.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Althrocin 250 Tablet is to be taken on an empty stomach.

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them

Finish the whole course even after you feel better. Tell your doctor if you have a heart rhythm problem or take a medicine for one — this group can affect the heart's electrical timing. Report severe or watery loose motions during or after the course rather than treating them yourself.

Interacts with a long list of medicines, including statins, some heart medicines and blood thinners — tell your doctor everything you take. Antacids reduce absorption; separate them by a couple of hours.

Store below 30°C in the original pack, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep out of the reach of children.
