Ambrolite Syrup

Ambrolite Syrup contains Ambroxol (30mg/5ml).

Productive cough, chest congestion, acute and chronic bronchitis, COPD and other respiratory tract conditions with thick mucus

Ambroxol is a mucolytic/expectorant that breaks down and thins thick mucus in the airways. It improves mucociliary clearance, making it easier to cough out phlegm and breathe better.

Take by mouth using a measuring cup/spoon. Usually taken after food; drink plenty of fluids. Dose depends on age and is as directed by the doctor; shake well before use.

Nausea, vomiting, stomach upset, diarrhea, dry mouth, throat irritation, rash, headache

Use with caution in patients with severe liver or kidney disease. Stop and seek medical help if allergic reaction or severe skin reactions occur. Avoid self-medicating in children; follow pediatric dosing advice. If cough persists beyond 7 days, is accompanied by fever, breathlessness, or blood in sputum, consult a doctor.

Cough suppressants (e.g. codeine, dextromethorphan) may reduce expectoration; use together only on medical advice. No major clinically significant interactions are commonly reported.

Store below 25°C, protected from light and moisture. Keep bottle tightly closed and out of reach of children.
