Respule

Relief of thick mucus and chest congestion in conditions such as productive cough, acute/chronic bronchitis and other mucus-producing respiratory illnesses (as prescribed).

Mucolytics/expectorants reduce the thickness and stickiness of phlegm and help improve clearance of mucus from the airways. This makes coughing more productive and eases breathing and chest congestion.

For inhalation via nebulizer only. Use the respule exactly as advised by the doctor; twist/open and pour entire contents into the nebulizer chamber, then inhale the mist until finished. Do not swallow or inject; do not mix with other medicines in the chamber unless directed.

Composition/strength not confirmed for this brand—verify label before dispensing. Use under medical supervision, especially in asthma/COPD (may trigger bronchospasm in some). Stop and seek care if wheezing, severe breathlessness, swelling, or allergic reactions occur. Use caution in patients with history of gastric ulcer/bleeding and in severe liver/kidney disease depending on ingredient. Maintain hygiene of nebulizer parts to prevent infection.

May interact with antitussives (cough suppressants) which can reduce mucus clearance. Depending on actual ingredient (e.g., ambroxol/acetylcysteine), interactions may include certain antibiotics (timing/compatibility in nebulizer) and nitroglycerin (with acetylcysteine). Confirm exact composition to assess interactions accurately.

Store below 25°C in the original pack, protected from light and moisture. Do not freeze. Use respule immediately after opening; discard any leftover solution.
