Relief of productive (wet) cough with thick mucus in conditions such as acute/chronic bronchitis, bronchial asthma with mucus plugging, and other respiratory tract infections with chest congestion.

Ambrozed Syrup is typically an ambroxol-based mucolytic/expectorant. It thins and breaks down thick mucus (reduces sputum viscosity) and improves mucociliary clearance, making it easier to cough out phlegm and breathe more comfortably.

Shake well before use. Measure with a calibrated cup/spoon and take by mouth, preferably after food. Drink adequate fluids to help loosen mucus. Dose and duration should be as advised by a doctor (especially for children).

Do not use if allergic to ambroxol or any ingredient. Use with caution in patients with stomach ulcers, severe liver/kidney disease, or bronchial asthma (may increase expectoration). Seek medical help if rash, swelling, breathing difficulty, severe skin reactions, or worsening symptoms occur. If cough persists >7 days, is recurrent, or is accompanied by fever, wheezing, chest pain, or blood in sputum, consult a doctor. Not a substitute for antibiotics when bacterial infection is present.

May increase lung concentrations of some antibiotics (e.g., amoxicillin, cefuroxime, erythromycin, doxycycline). Avoid combining with cough suppressants (e.g., codeine, dextromethorphan) unless prescribed, as it may hinder mucus clearance.

Store below 25°C in a cool, dry place away from direct light. Keep bottle tightly closed. Keep out of reach of children.
