Treatment of Depression
Amitryn 25 Tablet contains amitriptyline, an antidepressant (tricyclic antidepressant) that helps overcome depression. It works by increasing certain natural brain chemicals (serotonin and noradrenaline) that improve mood and reduce anxiety. This helps relieve depression and stabilize emotions.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Amitryn 25 Tablet may be taken with or without food.
