Dry eye syndrome (keratoconjunctivitis sicca), relief of burning, irritation, grittiness and discomfort due to reduced tear production or environmental factors (wind, dust, screen use)
How It Works
Carboxymethylcellulose is a tear substitute that lubricates and moisturizes the eye surface. It increases tear film stability and reduces friction on the cornea and conjunctiva, providing soothing relief from dryness and irritation.
Directions for Use
For ophthalmic use only. Instill 1–2 drops in the affected eye(s) as needed or as directed by a doctor. Wash hands before use; avoid touching the dropper tip; if using other eye medicines, keep a 10–15 minute gap. Remove contact lenses before instillation and reinsert after 15 minutes (or as advised).
Do not use if allergic to any ingredient. To prevent contamination, do not touch the dropper tip to the eye or any surface and keep the bottle tightly closed. Stop use and consult a doctor if eye pain, persistent redness/irritation, vision changes, or symptoms worsen. Discard if solution changes color/turns cloudy. Use caution while driving immediately after use due to transient blurring.
Drug Interactions
No significant systemic drug interactions expected due to topical ophthalmic use. If using multiple eye drops/ointments, separate administrations by 10–15 minutes (apply ointments last).
