Bacterial infections such as respiratory tract infections (sinusitis, otitis media, bronchitis, pneumonia), urinary tract infections, skin and soft tissue infections, dental infections, and other susceptible infections.

Amoxicillin is a penicillin antibiotic that inhibits bacterial cell wall synthesis. Clavulanic acid inhibits beta-lactamase enzymes, helping prevent resistance and extending amoxicillin’s activity. Lactic acid bacillus helps restore normal gut flora and may reduce antibiotic-associated diarrhea.

Take by mouth as prescribed, preferably at the start of a meal to reduce stomach upset. Swallow tablet with water at fixed times; complete the full course even if you feel better. Do not skip doses; if a dose is missed, take it as soon as remembered unless it is near the next dose.

Do not use if allergic to penicillins/cephalosporins or if you have had jaundice/liver problems with amoxicillin-clavulanate. Use with caution in liver disease, kidney impairment (dose adjustment may be needed), infectious mononucleosis (higher rash risk), and history of antibiotic-associated colitis. Seek urgent care for severe allergic reactions (swelling, breathing difficulty), severe diarrhea, or yellowing of eyes/skin.

Warfarin/other anticoagulants (may increase INR/bleeding risk), methotrexate (increased toxicity risk), probenecid (increases amoxicillin levels), allopurinol (increased rash risk), mycophenolate mofetil (reduced levels), oral contraceptives (reduced effectiveness possible—use backup if advised).

Store below 25°C in a dry place, protected from light and moisture. Keep in original blister pack and out of reach of children.
