Azid 250 mg Tablet contains Azithromycin (250mg) and is used for bacterial infections. Prescription required.

Treatment of Bacterial infections

Azid 250mg Tablet is an antibiotic that works by inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis. It binds to the bacterial ribosome and prevents the production of essential proteins required for bacterial growth and survival, thereby stopping the infection from spreading.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Azid 250mg Tablet may be taken with or without food.

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them

Finish the whole course even after you feel better. Tell your doctor if you have a heart rhythm problem or take a medicine for one — this group can affect the heart's electrical timing. Report severe or watery loose motions during or after the course rather than treating them yourself.

Interacts with a long list of medicines, including statins, some heart medicines and blood thinners — tell your doctor everything you take. Antacids reduce absorption; separate them by a couple of hours.

Store below 30°C in the original pack, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep out of the reach of children.
