Treatment of high blood pressure (hypertension); may also be used to reduce risk of angina/heart-related complications as prescribed.
Likely contains antihypertensive agents that relax and widen blood vessels to lower blood pressure. This reduces the workload on the heart and improves blood flow.
Take orally as prescribed by your doctor, usually once daily at the same time each day. Can be taken with or without food; swallow with water and do not stop abruptly without medical advice.
dizziness, headache, flushing, ankle/feet swelling (edema), tiredness, nausea, palpitations
Use with caution if you have low blood pressure, severe heart disease, liver/kidney problems, or are elderly (risk of dizziness/falls). Monitor blood pressure regularly. Do not stop suddenly; may worsen BP/angina. Seek urgent help for severe dizziness, fainting, swelling of face/lips, or breathing difficulty.
Other blood pressure medicines, diuretics, nitrates, alcohol, PDE5 inhibitors (sildenafil/tadalafil), certain antibiotics/antifungals (e.g., clarithromycin, azoles), grapefruit juice (for some calcium channel blockers), NSAIDs (may reduce BP control)
Store below 25°C in a cool, dry place away from moisture and direct light. Keep out of reach of children.
