Prevention of cardiovascular events (such as heart attack and stroke) in high-risk patients; secondary prevention after myocardial infarction/angina, post-stent/CABG, and in peripheral arterial disease (typically with antiplatelet/heart-protective combinations).

Take exactly as prescribed by the physician. Usually taken once daily, preferably after food, swallowed whole with water; do not crush/chew capsules. Continue regularly; do not stop suddenly without medical advice (especially after stent/heart attack).

Avoid use in aspirin allergy/asthma sensitive to NSAIDs (if aspirin-containing).
