Sucralfate (1000mg) + Zinc Carnosine (75mg)

Management of gastric and duodenal ulcers, gastritis and gastric mucosal erosions; adjunct for GERD-related mucosal injury and ulcer healing.

Sucralfate forms a protective barrier over ulcers/erosions by binding to proteins at the damaged mucosa, shielding it from acid, pepsin and bile salts and promoting healing. Zinc carnosine adheres to the gastric lining and supports mucosal defense and repair via antioxidant and cytoprotective actions.

Oral tablet. Typically taken on an empty stomach (about 1 hour before meals and/or at bedtime) as advised by the doctor. Swallow with water; separate from other medicines by at least 2 hours unless directed otherwise.

Use with caution in severe kidney disease (risk of aluminium accumulation from sucralfate) and in patients on dialysis. May reduce absorption of many oral medicines—keep a time gap. Avoid use in known hypersensitivity to ingredients. Consult doctor if symptoms persist, black stools/vomiting blood occur, or for long-term use. Use caution in diabetes if formulation contains sugars (check label).

Reduced absorption of: fluoroquinolones (ciprofloxacin, levofloxacin, norfloxacin), tetracyclines, levothyroxine, digoxin, phenytoin, warfarin, iron salts; antacids can reduce sucralfate binding—separate dosing; other oral medicines generally should be given at least 2 hours apart.

Store below 25°C in a cool, dry place. Protect from moisture and direct light. Keep out of reach of children.
