Cefolac CV 100 DT Tablet is used in the treatment of bacterial infections.
Cefolac CV 100 DT Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Cefixime and Clavulanic Acid. Cefixime is an antibiotic. It works by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering which is essential for the survival of bacteria. Clavulanic Acid is a beta-lactamase inhibitor which reduces resistance and enhances the activity of Cefixime against bacteria.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Dissolve it in a glass of water before taking it. Cefolac CV 100 DT Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
