Gentle laxative for relief of constipation and to soften stools in conditions where straining should be avoided (e.g., piles/haemorrhoids, fissures, post-operative/postpartum).

Acts as an osmotic laxative that draws water into the bowel, softening the stool and increasing its volume. This helps stimulate bowel movement and makes stool easier to pass.

Oral solution; take as advised by a doctor. May be taken with or without food; can be mixed with water/juice. Maintain adequate fluid intake; do not exceed recommended dose.

Bloating, flatulence, abdominal cramps, nausea, diarrhoea

Do not use in intestinal obstruction, severe abdominal pain of unknown cause, or suspected perforation. Use with caution in diabetes (if formulation contains sugars), elderly, and those at risk of dehydration/electrolyte imbalance. Stop and seek medical advice if severe diarrhoea, persistent abdominal pain, or no improvement after a few days. Prolonged use without medical supervision is not recommended.

May reduce absorption of other oral medicines if taken together; keep a 2-hour gap. Caution with diuretics/corticosteroids or other medicines affecting electrolytes (increased risk of imbalance if diarrhoea occurs).

Store below 25°C, away from direct light and moisture. Keep bottle tightly closed. Keep out of reach of children.
