Alpha-adrenergic agonist that constricts nasal blood vessels to reduce swelling.
Take 5ml of syrup every 6 hours. Do not exceed the recommended dosage.

Transient burning or stinging in nose, headache.
Do not use nasal spray for more than 3 days to avoid rebound congestion.
Alcohol, sleeping tablets and other sedating medicines add to the drowsiness. Tell your doctor about all cold and cough preparations — many already contain an antihistamine. Sedating ingredients add to the effect of alcohol and sleeping tablets. Decongestants such as phenylephrine and pseudoephedrine can raise blood pressure — tell your doctor if you are hypertensive.
Store upright at room temperature.
